Homo[+]/Homo 2, Phase 2
The human is not a singular organism; it is instead a complex community. Human intestines are home to a rich ecosystem made up of trillions of microorganisms, known as the microbiota or gut flora. This work illuminates the reciprocal relationship, as humans and their microbiota co-shape one another.
The work was later exhibited at the Wassaic Summer Festival-- see documentation: Homo[+]/Homo 2, Phase 3.
